Sarah Moon is a writer who lives in the Twin Cities. She’s a graduate of Wartburg College where she studied communication arts. After graduation, Sarah worked in TV news as a reporter and producer at stations in Iowa and Wisconsin. After leaving TV news, she studied digital marketing through the Digital Marketing Institute. When she’s not writing, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, watching sports, spending time with friends and family and baking.

Thank you for visiting. On February 28, 2019, my mom died from pancreatic cancer. While she was in hospice, I asked God what His will was for me in this situation. At first, I received a lot of silence, but I eventually realized He was calling me to write about this experience. Through my grief journey, I’ve realized there’s not a lot out there about grief from a young adult’s perspective, and I want to help change that. I was 32 when my mom died. Although I’m not a therapist or grief expert, I pray you’ll see God is with us through our deepest sufferings. God bless you.
